Men's Group will be at Kens house tomorrow night. We will meet downstairs again by the fire, in the warmth of each others company. I will have some yule logs to burn and perhaps we will do a round of written prayers / completions / letting go's to burn in the fire.
Michael Vessalago will be with us. Michael was a founding member of the group and as both a therapist and a man seeking his own wholeness and healing, he helped establish the group that we still have today. My first memory of Michael was at my second men's group in the early 90's; he encouraged us to each find a partner to lie across from and we raised our feet up and put them together. We felt each other through our feet and let ourselves move together in whatever way worked for us. It broke through some of my walls to the connection that I want to have with my close men friends.
